Instructions

Each kit will give you 100 tests.

With the 2.5 ml syringe add only 2ml of aquarium water to the test vial.
Add 5 drops of SiO3-1 to the test vial and swirl for 10-20 sec.
Add 1 level scoop of SiO3-2 powder and swirl for 10 sec.
• The solution in the test vial will attain yellow which is equal to 0mg/l of Silicate in the colors chart. At this stage it is recommended to compare the solution with zero Silicate content.
This may help you to detect small amount of Silicate, which makes insignificant color changes.
Add 2 drops of SiO3-3 to the test vial and swirl for 10-20 sec.
After 2 minutes place the test vial on the color chart and compare the colors looking from the side. The corresponding Silicate content taken from the color chart.
